Sandra Lee “Coy” Hodges went home to be with the Lord on Friday the 24th of July, 2020.

Sandra was born to Clyde H and Virginia R. Coy on October 23, 1943. Sandra was an animal lover. She loved her cat Winky who recently passed and her cat Petie Chuong, who she waited on hand and foot. She was a generous person who would reach out to others in their time of need. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her friends and neighbors all loved her. She believed in God and faithfully attended Victory Baptist Church on CR 452 in Eustis. She had a great sense of humor and was a great listener who would take your secrets to the grave. Sandra retired from the Timken Co. (steel) after 31 years. She also worked part time as a receptionist for Dr. Robert Zimmerman because she always dreamed of being an MD. She loved to travel. Sandra and her best friend Debra Dohy won several trips through the years and even traveled as far as the Bahamas.
Sandra was married to Stephen Lee Patterson for 31 years and raised their three children; Stephen Lee Patterson, Jr., Donald Lyle Patterson and Deborah Bernadette “Patterson” Curtice. She then shared vows with Charles Frank Hodges who had three daughters; Shannon, April and Amanda. She is survived by brothers James and Debra Coy of Molino, FL and Robert and Virginia Coy of Sevierville, TN and her sisters Karen and Harold “Bud” Kelly of Canton, OH and Cathy L. and Richard Beckley of Canton, OH. Sandra also leaves three grandchildren; Ashley O’Connor of Canton, OH, Jessica Patterson of Canton, OH and Allen Curtice of Malvern, OH, seven great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles F. Hodges, mother Virginia Ruth Vanscoy, father Clyde H. Coy, sister Linda J. Coy, grandson Donald Lyle Patterson, Jr. and her first husband Stephen L. Patterson.
