Jeffrey Andrew Snavely, 60, suddenly passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Tavares, FL. Born in Gainesville, FL on June 6, 1959. Jeff attended schools in Altamonte Springs, and in 1971 at Umatilla. 1978 graduated from Umatilla High School. He played football for the Bulldogs as a lineman, #66, helped Umatilla Baseball win the 1975 District Champs, Key Club, FFA-Future Farmers of America, and in Letterman’s club. He worked with his Dad and brothers, learned construction skills. He became a licensed Handyman, he creatively used his carpentry skills/ talents to rebuild structures. He created sheet metal air conditioning ducts for commercial buildings. And worked as an estimator for a local building contractor. His leisure talents included the arts: drawing/colored pencil/painting portraits, beautiful scenes /abstracts/ sheet metal crafting of unique realistic looking roses.

Jeff attended St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church. His deep faith in God, helped him overcome many obstacles in his life. He was kind to others and animals, loved his family and friends and loved to laugh and share stories. He was someone who accepted others, encouraging and supportive, forgiving and all about giving others second chances in life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl E. Dean and Edna T. Michels Snavely; his sister, Christia Snavely and his brother, Daniel Snavely. He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Jenny (Antonio) Bermudez; Denise (John,V) Meier; Timothy (Kathy Ann); Susan (Don) Oliver; Deana (Jim) Blowe; Kevin; Allen (Paula); ten nieces, five nephews and two great-nieces.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 17th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, 218 Ocklawaha, Eustis, Florida.
