Zachary’s story began January 15, 1987 in Annapolis, Maryland and he was called to his final home on January 17, 2020 in Tampa, Florida. Zack was an outgoing and loving man that had a true gift of spreading happiness and laughter to all those he knew and met.
He was a beloved son to Luanne Moon, the true love and soul mate to Marie Hayes, a loving father to Leslie Moon, and to Jessica Judge he was the best brother a sister could ever ask for. He was loved deeply and proud to be called nephew by Kevin and Lori Baker and he will be missed by his cousins Adrienne Black and Jennifer Cason.
With Zack there was never a dull moment. He always had a joke to share and he put smiles on everyone’s faces. Not much could keep him down, and he never let the fact that he was dealt a tough sickness stop him from living. He was still the life of the party.
He loved being creative and making things to give to people. Wood working, assembling electronics and computers, Airsoft, following YouTube videos of car racing and engine rebuilding, forging steel and glass blowing videos, tinkering with tools and making random things, putting googly eyes on things like the vacuum cleaner, X-Box gaming and playing Halo, and his weekly Friday night adventures of Dungeons and Dragons with his friends were just a few things he enjoyed in his daily life. But most of all he enjoyed seeing his family and friends and sharing time with them.
To celebrate and remember the extraordinary man Zachary was there will be a viewing on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and a service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at Purcell Funeral Home Chapel in Bushnell, Florida.
Zachary will forever be in the hearts of those he knew.
