Obituary for Joseph Anthony Guarino, Jr.

Joseph Anthony  Guarino, Jr.
Joseph “Joey” Guarino, age 46, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 in Sumterville, Florida. Joe was born in Brooklyn, New York, then moved to Staten Island, he lived there until the age of 10 years old. Joe moved to New Jersey where he attended Middletown High School South graduating in 1991. He went on to attend Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania where he graduated with a Bachelors in Business in 1995.
Joseph was an avid post card, first day cover and model train collector and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the New York Club , The New York Mets Club and Deep Sea Fishing Club all of The Villages. He enjoyed searching garage sales and flea markets in which he turned into a business with his Father. Joe worked in the Banking Industry in New York and Florida.
Joe was precede in death by his Loving Sister Nicola who passed away in 2003.
Joseph is survived by his Loving Parents: Linda and Joseph Guarino of The Villages, Florida.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, Wildwood, Florida. Friends may call at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home from 2-4 and 5-7:00 P.M. on Monday, January 6, 2020. Interment will follow the Mass at Lone Oak Cemetery, Leesburg, Florida where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved sister Nicola. In lieu of flowers friends may make donations to Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL. 32778-9648
