Roscoe (Russ) C. Wenrich, born in Verdilla, PA on November 2, 1927 to the late Clarence and Frances Wenrich, passed away on November 12, 2019 at his residence in Wildwood, FL. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joy Wenrich Weiboldt, and his son, Donald Wenrich, his sisters, Sara Steffen, Irene Stauffer, Lera Schaeffer and Mildred Dannelley and his brother, Jonathan Wenrich. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, his daughter, Judith (Richard) Courter, his son, Robert Alan, Sr. (Kathleen Carpenter) Wenrich, his granddaughters, Dawn Shelley, Janis Courter, his grandsons, Robert Alan (Jody) Wenrich, Jr., Jonathan (Mary Helen) Wenrich, Ryan Weiboldt, Sean Weiboldt, Michael (Fae) Courter, great-granddaughters Cristina (John) Merola, Brianna Wenrich and great-grandsons, Brandon Shelley and Triston Shelley.

Russ was born on a family farm, then moved to NJ in 1943 where he worked at Essex County Overbrook Hospital. In 1946 he proudly served his country as a Medical Corpsman AAF during WWII. Upon discharge he returned to Overbrook where he became an LPN and charge nurse for more than 35 years. After retirement he returned to his Pennsylvania roots where he provided local transportation and landscaping services. He lived in Selinsgrove, PA for another 35 years before relocating to Florida to spend his remaining days with his family.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Beyers Funeral Home, 134 N. Hwy. 27/441, Lady Lake, FL. Funeral Services will follow officiated by Pastor Steve Turner.
