Michael F. Ciurczak, age 56, of Spring Hill, Florida, formerly of Buffalo, New York, passed away suddenly on November 12, 2019. A beloved son of the late Robert Ciurczak, Sr. and Joyce Ciurczak, Mike was a wonderful chef, an avid gardener and an enthusiastic fisherman.

Mike was a remarkably helpful, patient and thoughtful man and an empathetic and knowledgeable coworker. His legendary culinary skills were behind the success of many family feasts and celebrations, and he was always ready to help a friend, relative or employee in need of assistance or encouragement.
Mike loved sports. To his family’s dismay, he was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox, and his devotion was finally rewarded when that team broke its World Series drought in 2004. The fact that he was only a little insufferable about the team’s subsequent successes speaks to Mike’s sterling character.
Mike was the caring brother of Mary (Paul) Wasch, Robert (Sherry Hogan) Ciurczak, Jr. and John Ciurczak. He was the fun-loving uncle of Stephanie (Adam) Redden, Anthony Wasch and Anna (Karyn Lemus) Ciurczak and great uncle to Connor and Elle Redden.
Mike will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues from New York to Florida. A private celebration of Mike’s life was held this week in Florida, and Mike will be interred with his beloved maternal grandparents in Buffalo at a later date.
