Cole L Skinner, 94, of Bushnell, FL, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019, at home in Bushnell, FL. Cole was a past member of Wahoo Baptist where he served as a deacon for many years. He was also a past member of First Baptist Church of Zephyrhills where he served with Pastor Charles Roesel as a deacon and church training director. He most recently was a member of First Baptist of Bushnell. Cole enjoyed being a Boy Scout leader and missionary work and he enjoyed gardening. He was a founder of the "Meals on Wheels". He retired after 23 years working at Evans Ace Hardware and prior to that he ran his own tire business for 15 years.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years: Abristo McGregor Skinner of Bushnell, FL; son: Cole Skinner, Jr. of Bushnell, FL; stepchildren: Terry, Dennis, Candace, Molly, Tina and Ben; sister: Margaret "Peg" Green of Ellenboro, NC; and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Jean Skinner; parents: William Lee Skinner and Lilar Skinner; brothers: Bobby and Darrell Skinner; stepsons: Hollis and Scott McGregor.
A service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. (with visitation from 12:00 to 1:00) at First Baptist Church of Bushnell. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
