Obituary for Ethel F. "Peg" Lipniskas

Ethel F. "Peg" Lipniskas
Ethel (Peg) Lipniskas, 90, entered into eternal peace into the arms of our Loving Lord at The Willows Assisted Living in Oxford Florida on June 5, 2019 at 5:04 am under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice.
Peg was born on October 7, 1928, a daughter of the late Naomi (Frazee) and William Talbert Humberson. She married the late Connie William Lipniskas in August of 1948. They raised their four children in Pennsylvania where Peg worked at Hill’s Department store until her retirement. In retirement they moved to Florida where Peg could enjoy the benefits of the warmer climate. It was during this time she learned to golf and actually accomplished three holes in one. She enjoyed bowling, and in her younger years participated in bowling leagues where she was often the top scorer. While living at The Willows Assisted Living Peg was featured in the local paper as being one of the “more accomplished residents” knitting up to seven hats a week for children in need. Before she started on that venture though all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren received a knitted hat especially made for each of them. In addition, she loved doing craft type activities and was always willing to try her hand at any new craft idea that came along… from stitch art, ceramic moldings, painting, making her own door wreaths, and many more. She was an avid member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Fruitland Park Florida.
Peg was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Connie William Lipniskas in 2008, grandson John Patrick Blanc in 2014; siblings, Clifford Ray Humberson, William Humberson, John Humberson, Nell West, and Sevilla Mae Humberson.
Peg is survived by daughter Karen (Steve) Nemchik, son William (Cathy) Lipniskas, daughter Linda (Patrick) Blanc, and daughter June (Scott) Byers. She leaves her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren all of whom she highly cherished; Stephanie (Paul) Collins, Julia (JR) Sapic, Justine (John) Clemens, Jessica Lipniskas, Jillian (Kyle) Wilt, Justin Blanc, Jaclyn (Michael) Kaiser, Elliott Byers, Evan Byers, Benjamin Byers, and Alexandra Byers. Great grandchildren; Nadia, Patrick, Gianna, Danielle, Liam and Hazel.
A Memorial and Burial will be at a later date at the Humberson Family Cemetery located at the peak of a beautiful mountain in Maryland (her home state).
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the administration and entire staff at The Willows Assisted Living and Compassionate Care Hospice for their support in her final days.
