Larry was a very dear friend to me. He taught me how to hold the golf stick, how to use the clubs, how to use my anger and make my game better. I still remember the time when he was here with us in India. He used to call 'rotis' (Indian bread) made by my mum as "burritos". He was one of a kind. Once on his birthday I asked him to throw us a party, and he was like "So I should be the one giving you presents as well!". I have had some of the best times with him.
I would always remember him. He was a great teacher, philosopher, guide, my mentor. I really am going to miss him...

I remembered Larry from high school golf back in the early 1970s and reconnected with him several years ago when he was doing some club fitting at the PGA Superstore in Southlake. He was a guest on our radio show and I really enjoyed visiting with him on and off the air. I especially liked his stories of working in India. He was a golfer's golfer and a good guy. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I was Larry’s colleague and close friend during his stint teaching golf for the David Leadbetter golf academy in Beijing in China in 2017. Larry loved playing and teaching golf and was a very loyal man . We shared a lot of good moments together and had hoped to meet him again one day. Keep “ riding the wave” Larry. Going to miss you buddy.
