Obituary for Irene Settimia Bolling

Irene Hart Bolling, known to friends and family as "Nanny," passed away peacefully March 10, 2019, at the age of 95.

Irene Settimia was born August 28, 1923, to Louis and Josephine Brandonisio in Salineville, Ohio. She was the restaurateur of the Dixie Restaurant in Leesburg, Florida and then a supervisor for many years at Tele Service. She was preceded in death by her husband, David F. Bolling, two brothers, a sister, and a grandchild.

Irene loved people and showed affection by cooking for friends and family and gathered with them around her kitchen table. The life she lived and her hardworking demeanor were an example to her family and others.

Irene is survived by her four children, a son, David L. Bolling, and three daughters (through a previous marriage with W.W. “Bill” Hart, who also preceded her in death), Sandra Watkins-Walker, Connie Clark, and Linda Hart; nine grandchildren, Kimberly Perez (Hernando), Karen McCaffrey, Kelley Thibeault (Stacy), Sonya Brown, Lisa Ottendorf (Paul), Tara Stanley (Charles), RJ Clouse (Maria), Brandi Watkins, Krystal Green (Gerald); 17 great-grandchildren, Madison McCaffery, Miraide McCaffery, Siera Orr (Daniel), Bryan Thibeault, Haley Odiome, Hanna Holden (Kade), Hunter Brown, Brock Ottendorf, Luke Ottendorf, Hailee Stanley, Robert Clouse, Jeffrey Clouse, Jaden Clouse, Aubrie Lumpiesz, Alissa Lumpiesz, Jordan Green, and Noah Green; five great-great-grandchildren; and her many nephews and nieces.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Beyers Funeral Home, 134 US-441, Lady Lake, Florida from 1-2 pm with Funeral Services beginning at 2:00 pm followed by a graveside service where she will be laid to rest beside her late husband, David Bolling at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 1901 County Rd 25A Leesburg, FL. Please join us in celebrating her life at 5pm (following the graveside service) at Spruce Creek Clubhouse, 9880 SE 176th St., Summerfield, FL, her community of the last 25 years.

Donations in memory of Irene can be made to the Ted and Diane Brandley House Hospice Care Center in Summerfield, Florida.

We will hold onto the love of a beautiful soul.
