Johnnie "Mae" Reaves, 82, of Webster, FL, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, FL. She was a member of the Sumter County Seniors Club and she enjoyed being involved in her church, gardening, cooking, tutoring her grandchildren, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by sons: Howard Reaves of Nashville, TN, Joseph (Mary Jo) Reaves of Luverne, AL, Ronnie (Patricia) Reaves of Webster, FL, Johnny (Raegan) Reaves of Webster, FL, Matthew Reaves of Luverne, AL; daughters: Trudy (Steve) Delisle of Jacksonville, FL, Kathy Reaves of Luverne, AL, Sherry Remis of Bushnell, FL, Tammy Starnes (Wayne) of Webster, FL; 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; brother: David (Faye) Middleton of Montgomery, AL; sisters: Annie Clyde Middleton of Troy, AL, Mary Alice Middleton of South FL, and Peggy Sue Middleton of Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Jack Reaves.
Visitation and ServiceA service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. (visitation from 11 to 12) at Faith Baptist Church, with Pastor Emery King officiating. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery.
