Obituary for Richard Anthony Naso

Richard Anthony Naso
RICHARD A NASO

On February 8, 2019 Richard Anthony Naso of The Villages, FL passed peacefully into the comfort of the Lord. Welcoming him to heaven were his parents, Romayne and William Naso. Richard was the beloved husband of Linda, father to Marina (Alan), Michael (Lesa), Kim (Bill), Vicki, Matthew (Cristina). Proud grandfather of his nine grandchildren, Marisa, Sean, Jake, Sarah, Sam, Maddie, Zach, Christopher and Alessandra, great-grandson Raiden and sister Delores (Frank)
Richard touched many lives and in his 79 years had many blessings. We knew Richard as kind, gentle, honorable and humble. He never wanted to be the center of attention. He loved sports and had 20+ years of softball in Naples and The Villages. Richard enjoyed golf and was an avid football fan following The Ohio State Buckeyes and Fantasy Football.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio and graduating from Parma High School, he was very patriotic and proud of his tour of duty in the Army following Elvis to Germany. His career in sales was in ladies’ apparel eventually moving him from Columbus, Ohio to Atlanta, Georgia. He retired at 51 and made his way to Naples, Florida and The Villages in 2013.
Richard’s passing has left a gigantic void in his family and his friendships. He was loved, a very special man making our lives richer and better just knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at Beyers Funeral Home 134 N. Hwy 27/441, Lady Lake, FL 32159 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm with a service at 3:00 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation, P.O. Box 368, Woodland Hills, CA 91365.
